This is a quick e-mail to see if my handle and password still work. It feels like an eternity since I have posted on this site. But old habbits die hard.
I wanted to touch base with all our Scapers and say hi.
I hope you are all doing well and do not feel too scarred by the demise of the show. Life trundles on . Goodness knows what awaits us all.
I am sure you will forgive my absense from this board. Last time I tried to post was shortly after the news that season 5 would not be going ahead.
Try as I might, the post would not go through. Fingers crossed for this one.

Let me just say that the weird rumour from this weekend passed sent me through a whirlwind of emotions. Reading some of your posts tonight did the same.
I am so sorry that you may have thought for even a second that I was dead. I know what it's like to get bad news.
I am flattered that there are loving thoughful strangers on the other side of the world who were concerned or would be if had actually died.
I am also flattered that you all think I was robbed of an award.
But this is Ben's time to shine, let's not allow our potential joy for him to be tainted. He is too humble, too modest.
Without him, there is no Farscape. It is about time that people in the broader community recognised what an asset he is to the show and what a talented man he is in his own right.
So don't you worry about me, you lovely , lovely ones!! Not only am I alive and kicking Crichton, (arf, arf) but with supportive fans like you I don't need awards to feel I'm doing good.
You guys make me feel that I'm doin just fine.
And be careful how you judge the winner of this years award. Alcoholism is a disease.
It's not a lifestyle choice. I am pleased that she has, by the sound of things, sought help. She will now,
I am sure tread a difficult path that requires courage as well as support from others. So I say, yay! and congratulations to her (and the other winners).
This business is not an easy one. We artists are a delicate lot . And we're only human.
